I fly 34,000 miles a year (or more) in J Y or B and get 1 1/2 points per mile and get my 50,000 points with the fewest miles possible. If you have th etime flying 50,000 miles in coach with Q and S fares (for a lot less than I pay) will get you 50,000 miles. Either 50K point or miles you re/qualify for PLT. Pick your poison.
