ATL will be repairing their 4 older runways on at a time, something that has long been overdue, which can only now be done because the 5th runway is open. During this time, the 5th runway acts as the replacement runway for the one under repair.

I swear my last 10 flights into ATL have been delayed "due to the runway construction". Why can't the new 5th runway take up the slack? This is starting to annoy me and you all know that I'm one of the few ATL defenders around here.
Does anyone know how long this construction is going to last? And when will the other runways start their construction?
