Hmmm, I got upgraded on my last VIE-MUC flight without asking and the agent even tried to free the blocked 1A seat for the MUC-FMO leg (to no avail...). For operational reasons you may get these perks. As for the HON status, as far as I recall (Merry reported on receiving this status, I guess) there are no other perks than those you receive as a SEN, not even a higher waitlist priority.
