After leaving the fold that is BA I have embarked on the long and rocky road to be a nurse. My English and history degree ain't enough. ( No proof of recent study experience!) The fact I've done CPR on 2 pax ain't enough ( not in a " care setting" )
Do they WANT nurses?

Aaaanyways. I started my job as a health care assistant the other day, in an older persons' care home... as it's known now! We put them all to bed. All the clients fast asleep at 2230. I do my walk around at 2300. One not breathing. I put the light on.... no still not breathing... check for a pulse... very faint, but, still there. No breath though. I go to give her a rescue breath and she sits up laughing her head off, scares the .... outa me. Two of her old mates in the en suite, laughing their heads off. Humour in an old peoples' home.... hilarious!

I remember playing games with new C Crew. Filling a sick bag with baby food and eating it in front of them. Filling a nappy with choc and doing the same.

Anyone else had another incredibly funny experience? NOT!
