I think you'll be fine, Lance. I do wonder if you can't get your days, whether they'll give you the money back.

That's always my concern about these auctions. I know a couple of people who have won reputable travel auctions (including last year's Starwood Katrina relief effort) who then had some difficulty using their packages. So I'm cautious about spending "big money." But since you only spent $600 and you're dealing with two very good companies (Amex and Marriott), I'm confident that it will work out OK.

Thanks for sharing your bidding strategy, btw. I always figured it would take dozens of clicks and a lot of luck to win one of these (I also wonder if some computer geeks have figured out a way to "beat the system"). Congrats!
