There’s much less cultural difference than you’d imagine in our amigo’s version of España.

Some of us have been treated to a wonderful diatribe informing we ignorants that Galician isn’t an actual language per se, it’s merely a local dialect, as different from Castillian Spanish as Texan is to ‘us’.

For someone who complains so bitterly about people’s perceptions of what is to them a foreign country, he shows remarkable little sensitivity towards the cultural differences in his own.
