The Nikon D50 is great...great quality, great features and great price. In fact, my son has the D70 and wishes he had the D50 instead. I agree with others that B&H is a good lace to go...I've purchased several cameras from them without the follow up pitches, request to call them to verify CC info., the other typicaly ploys to get you to buy additional stuff. I've not typically found them to be the best price for other things (batteries, filters, etc.)...but check it out anyway
