I agree completely with both sentences. Public transportation in Los Angeles, California, isn't nearly as bad as people would have you believe, especially given the huge expanse of the city.

8th innning?! That's when the die-hard fans leave. I've seen the stands start clearing out in the 7th. But, they are a little better about this during the playoffs. And, it was funny to see all those people trying to get back into the stands during that extra-inning game where they hit four back-to-back home runs against the Padres on September 18th!
Watching movie trailers between innings at Dodger Stadium always trips me out! Only in Los Angeles ...
