There have been some rumblings through the company about RFD. That coupled, with the recent article in the Chicago Tribune article about a significant announcement coming shortly about new service at RFD, gives it some legs to stand on. I haven't really heard much but I'll try and keep my ears open.

JetBlue (JBLU - commentary - Cramer's Take) says it wants to begin flying between New York's Kennedy Airport and Chicago's O'Hare.
In a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration, JetBlue requested "prompt approval" for eight arrival authorizations at O'Hare, a congested airport with restrictions on arrival slots, starting in November.
JetBlue said in the letter that it has 44% of all Kennedy departures and 24% of the airport's domestic departures. The airline also said that "whenever JetBlue enters a new market and introduces low fares to the traveling public, the competition matches fares and increases capacity."
