Finally, if you are ticketed in a particular class, you are treated pretty much the same way as a revenue passenger. It is possible that during an oversold situation, you may be IDB or involuntarily downgraded, but I've never heard of it.

It is a F award using SQ and DL. My issue is the DL segment from ATL to SFO. They seem to feel selling q fares and automaticly upgrading them to F is more fair than clearing already confirmed passange with F award.
In fact when they are asked they do not even tell that this is the case, instead say they are in business to sell F seats and will sell them all on this and the other two afternoon flights. THis is true if you buy Q and get F. Also fully refundable.
It does not seem to be fair and truely playing fair by the rules.
