bealine - poor choice of words (see above ) on my part. By "optional" I meant not compulsory, i.e. I recalled a test case/some trial where people had refused to have it done. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all. As you say, by the time I’ve got to the BP check I’ve been on CCTV dozens of times already at various points (walking to the station, the station, the train, LGW station, LGW south, in to the shuttle, LGW North, check-in, etc., etc.)
