Is it common or fair for a skysaver international First Class award to be bumped within days of departure in favor of deeply discounted QUP fair? They are not acutely selling F now they are giving it to anyone who buys a coach ticket within 7 days.

Where is the value of status and awards?

I would understand holding seats till the end for full fare F but this seems unfair!!

As always Delta says they are in business to make money. I can agree with this statement. But if we play by there rules cant we expect them for be somewhat fair? If I pay coach why should I get F before a F award waitlisted? In fact this means many people on the flight may be entitled to F before me as a rev ticket in this case.

What do others objectively feel? How would you feel if it was you? Is this more common than we all know?
