It is last of the metric conversion factors being applied to the old 375 ml standard to the new enhanced 300 ml revised metric standard sized container. This size differentiation is enhanced when matched to the implementation of the metric daylight savings standardised time zones, which incidently, will be phased in over a 10 month period. The 10 time zones will replace the previous 24 zones and lead to more harmonised air schedules and business agendas in all countries.
That being said, I also understand the metrification will also be applied to aircraft seating where every odd non-metric row will be deleted as well as the six across seating (737) will be reduced to 5.
It's all looking good ......
