a dinner at the Michelin *** (and member of the famous tradition et qualité orden) auberge de l'Ill in Illhäusern, Alsace, France (between Colmar and Strasbourg, 20 km from the river Rhine and the german boarder, 30' from Basel, Switzerland by car), run by the famous father/brother/son dynastie Haeberlin.

You can compare this place (Restaurant and small hotel/auberge) - to the Inn at little Washington in the US.

But every second year or so, I even allow myself (my family) to go there anyway ...
