There is no legal requirement for photo ID (or even using your realname)when travelling Domestic. The photo (wich I believe is optional still if youu make the rquiste fuss) is used to justverify theat you are the same erson who passed through the BP check initially and h ave not switched airside. Inernaional, you need a Passport/ID, hence no photo requiremnet.
