Good programme, I thought, but did not really contain any information that I found surprising.

In my fatalistic sort of way, I am left thinking what I always have thought. In an air crash, my chances of survival are going to depend almost entirely on chance, in particular the nature of the crash.

One thing I did learn - thanks to the website - was that VS has those airbags fitted. It's why the seatbelts are so chunky. In a head on crash in the VS suite, the biggest problem would be surviving the impact and not being knocked unconscious against the shell of the seat in front. Perhaps that is why the airbags have been fitted.
