I am hungry, too! I was among the first customers at Sandrine's, Boston's only Alsatian bistro that opened a couple of years ago at Harvard Square.

The simple things were great, such as mehlknepfle and flammekueche (don't call it pizza!). Like Filet St. Pierre, there was Asian influence on the menu as well (Chilean sea bass in lemongrass broth, for example), which I did not find to be as good the Alsatian dishes. The restaurant also offers a decent selection of German wines (love gerwutz!), something you don't see often in most US restaurants.

Although LH has some pretty good promotions, such as the Eurofare promotion (multi-cities, Mercedes rental, and free night at Starwood), it's would to justify flying out of the country for good food! (Although I am sure Rudi can present a convincing case of why it is justified…)
