A Club room at the IC Bali would be my first choice. Check the IC forum for raves about this hotel.

I stayed at the MO KL just before Christmas last year and it's location is perfect for shopping at KLCC. The hotel was quite full at that time, mid-December and not that cheap relative to other SE Asian hotels.
