Thanks for the reviews on the Sheraton Brookhollow.

Now I am a bit concerned since most of the reviews seem to give the hotel Hairballs and paws down.

My options could be:

*Stick it out here.
*Switch to the Four Points Houston (which I stayed and found a pretty good hotel. As a good and very wise friend says basically I'm only there to sleep and shower up. The only negative is that it is a bit far from everything. However, I have friends who can get me there and around.)
*Wait and see if the Sheraton Suites rates go down (in the past five years about 10 days before my New Year's Eve/birthday arrival they drop to a budgetable level. I will not spend $219 for the suites. $129 maybe.)

FYI: I don't think a Sheraton Suites would have any upgrade except to the upper floors which are called SPG floors. Aren't all the rooms basically the same?

I'm surprised to hear about the poor customer service there. I've stayed there for the past seven years. I have NEVER had a bad experience, as a Gold or a Platinum. They even remembe rme say "Welcome back."

The last two years I found a birthday cake in my room on New Year's Eve/my birthday. Nice surprise.

I look forward to my next Texas trip and getting some nice Shiner Bock. I even bring a few bottles home (although with the TSA rules now... I may have to ship.)
