Anyone seen this:
I was booked on a transatlantic (TATL) flight in early November from ATL to Europe. The flight time from when I originally booked the ticket has been bumped up 20 minutes by DL. So, when I go to DL.com, and look at my itineraries, I actually see two entries for my TATL.
The older itinerary has waitlisted listed next to it.. click and you see that you're waitlisted for a "G" or "Z" upgrade. (Z in this case). Thing is, the entire ticket, roundtrip is a "U" fare.
The new flight is listed too, with the updated (newer) departure time, and simply says confirmed.
Anyone ever experience DL doing a upgrade because they have inconvienced passengers or changed schedules after ticketing on an international segment? Or is this just a fluke?
FWIW - the BE cabin on the flight is wide open and hardly booked up, now less than a month out.
All seems rather weird to me.. (but if it happened, I wouldn't complain and would be extra nice to the flight crew

)
