Conrad Bali was at almost full occupancy when I was there 2-3 months ago. In place of Australian tourists are local Indonesians and other Asians (Taiwanese, Singaporeans etc). "Made Warong" in Kuta did not have a table for me when I dropped by during lunch time to check out this eatery.

Dont think you could find sub-USD100 rate anymore at the better international chain resorts. Cheapest room at the Conrad was USD150 after tax and slightly less at the Westin/Sheraton Laguna.
