Government really is the answer!
The recent bill passed about airport security got me thinking. (warning: satire ahead)
Isn't safety in air travel too important to be left to profit seeking and greedy airlines? Airlines just want to cut corners and save a buck on air safety, maintenance and operations. You can't expect airlines to be able to safely fly planes when they are so greedy and driven exclusively by the profit motive.
The government must get involved so all pilots and crew and maintenance workers are immediately federalized so that they are all government employees.
Also, food supplies are too important to be left to private enterprise whose only motivation is greed.
Shouldn't the government hire, train and finance all farmers and should own all farmland?
And I don't care what people say about doctors and hospitals. With medical care you are dealing with people's lives. Nobody has a right to make money from other people's misery. Government should immediately step
in and take over all aspects of health care.
Speaking of health care, nobody has a right to charge excessive amounts of money for drugs. The government needs to step in and take over the pharamceutical companies. Drugs are too important to public safety and the drug companies only care about their own greedy bank accounts.
