Well yes, it is day one of NGCW in terms of catering. I feel more at liberty now to discuss what changes and improvements you'll be seeing.

Firstly, new crockery will be loaded. Clean, simple, white Daulton (IIRC) china for the plates, mugs and saucers. You'll also see new "tray liners" and napkins, plus the return of metal napkin rings. Please do not steal them.

Raid The Larder is no longer. We're now delighted to offer "Club Kitchen" which is a far, far more substantial offering for between-meal-snacking. You'll see salads, fruit salads, smoothies, sandwhiches plus more.

And perhaps the most exciting development is that all ex-UK services (only) will benefit from a mid-flight ICE CREAM RUN!!!!!!!!! That's right. Ice Cream will (should) be available on all ex-UK flights.

Lets look forward to the first report from someone who has actually flown with the new service. I won't be doing so until the 4th to Shanghai (anyone joining me?).
