I warned FTers of this exact scenario several months ago and you appear to be the first caught up in the web:

As TWA gets smaller and smaller, routes will be dropped and/or taken over by AA.

It is my understanding that LP WILL tkt an itinerary MORE THAN 30 days out if an expedite fee is paid.

It may well be to ones advantage (scuze the pun) to pay this fee and have tkt in hand.

Then if your TWA route is dropped, AA or another carrier should honor the ticketed trip.
