I paid with Mastercard, but they also take Visa. The customer service agent said they take AMEX but they were having troubles with them still for the time being. (I don't know if this is a ploy to avoid the AMEX fees which I wouldn't put past Latinpass).

One serious issue of dispute that I've been going over with them is the amount of the expedite fee. I'm currently two weeks out from my requested travel date and they continue to insist that the expedite fee is $75 instead of the $40. I had a problem a month ago with a ticket to Frankfurt that they had also screwed up and we were exactly 21 calendar days out when I requested that they ticket it. They tried to tell me that it was 21 "business" days. Ugh!! So I fought with them over that one. Eventually I didn't pay an expedite fee and the ticket was sent certified mail.

It seems the difference between the $40 fee and the $75 fee is how it's sent. If it can be sent certified mail (ie: is there enough time), and if you're short on time, $75 for Fedex.

One thing I want to make clear for everyone; the expedite fee is based on calendar days not business days. The rules on the website don't mention anything about business days. The other thing it is rather unclear about is that the ticket request date is not the date you send them your desired flights/dates, it's the date that you actually request the already confirmed reservation to be ticketed. Phew....
