I understand Taj Mahal should be viewed at sunset as well as sunrise. Since it is closed on Fridays, should we try to arrive on Friday before sunset anyway and see it from outside the gate? Or is a Saturday morning visit sufficient - someone mentioned 8am, but isn't sunrise before then?
Absolutely the best time to see the Taj is first full moon night after the monsoons. Provided the skies are clear (not hazy), which is almost never now.
