This is wrong. It does open at 4am (also noted by the link provided) they have several 6am flights.
I fly from EWR and they definietly have crappy signs.
And I don't understand why the agent wouldn't let her check her bag - this has never happened to me flying int'l (via DFW usually) from EWR.
