The question is shall I move my BAEC to HK and use it to collect AsiaMiles and BAEC status or sign up completely from scratch for the MPC/AsiaMiles program? Also, if I move my BAEC to HK, do I still need to do 4 BA sectors to qualify?
Would like to hear from people who have had to take this decision...
Thanks
The BAEC qualification rates are the same for HK as UK so no gain in moving your account. The 4 sectors requirement is still there which is a hassle (use your flights back to LON I guess).
You can hedge your bets with 2 flights back to LON on the BA account (which if in biz + addy in europe is sliver).
And credit the other flights to Asia Miles (which has better redemption rates in my opinion). MPC sliver/gold shouldn't be too hard to obtain with your travel patterns (but won't offer much more than BAEC silver....)
