SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Korean Air will install Taser stun guns on its planes, Taser International said Wednesday.

Korean Air becomes the first Asian airline to install the Advanced Taser, a gun-like weapon that fires electrically charged darts to temporarily immobilize an attacker.

The airline plans to have its air crews trained to use the weapon by mid-April, the company said.
