We will be in economy but should be platinum if the LAN segments post within 7 days. Good point though, I will book the seat assignments right now as far to the front as possible and with carry-on size backpacks we can outrun the people with the wheelie bags.
you should be ok in the visitor alien line with him. flying economy, as was said, get seats at the front of economy and step lively to the immigration hall for best results.

being PLT will help you with the security re-clearance (look around to the side for the premium line), but not at all before then.
