Fido used to be a great service. My only beef was with their spotty coverage. For everything else they were way ahead of the curve - first on the scene with GSM, good handsets at decent prices, innovative pricing and my beloved 20c US roaming. Too bad they never got a foothold.

As with everything Rogers touches, they have completely ruined Fido. I doubt the brand will exist in a few years.

The state of the Canadian wireless market is really sad compared to the vibrant competition in the US. The CRTC needs to take the lid of the thing and let T-Mo or Cingular come in and take Rogers down a few pegs.
