I'm posting for a relative who is travelling. She will be flying into Newark and will have an 8 hour stopover. Does anyone have any suggestions on some quick things to do in NYC? I was thinking that she could get the train to the city and walk around certain areas. She will get in at 11 and leave at roughly after 7. A quick sightseeing itinerary with no risk of missing a connection would be great. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, will she just check her bags through and then be able to go outside of security?
