IIRC, to earn miles on AA when flying MU, the MU-operated flights shown on your ticket and boarding passes must bear AA flight numbers.
Additionally, I'm not certain whether all fare classes will be awarded 100% mileage even after CA joins *A. IIRC, discounted economy class fares earn 70% mileage in UA M+ and CA's Companion programme.
