Are you kidding me? How do they think some of these products are going to be carried on in 3 oz or less if they are NOT switched to a different bottle. That guy is smoking something, no way is that a rule and NO WAY was it ever associated with CHECKED luggage. This is so out of hand with no sense, logic or effectiveness about anything this organization does.

BTW, did you ask for the supervisors boss or a higher opinion? What he was spouting was obviously BS made up as he went. I hope you got his name and will file a very strongly worded complaint (not that it'll help much). Very sorry to hear this happened to you, GG. Hope the rest of your trip goes better.
