See what happens when you put the airport "in the hands of the community"? This is the worst public policy imaginable. This is a public facility without accountability to citizens or politicians. They are focused on re-bar, wet concrete, speed limits, their art collection, and image.

If I had the slightest faith in the "New Canadian Government," I'd believe they would re-structure the board and strengthen accountability to the Minister of Transport.
