Globe, the AE checkpoint will close on Friday, and eventually become a new exit lane (just as the existing exit lane is where the main checkpoint used to be).
Unfortunately, of course, that means no more quick runs through that checkpoint -- which used to be one of the redeeming factors of using AE...
