Ok called up using the secondary card on my Amex and used the 19709 Delaware Zip, where in the past it would be processed 1-2-3 this time I was told to remain on the line as I needed to speak to an associate.

After about 1 min a guy got on asked my name and my zip I gave him both Except of cause the 19709 instead on my NY one. He said the Zip wasnt correct I said thats mine he said he needed the Zip that was listed on the card, so I said OK my sons Zip is XXXXX. He asked for the 4 digit security code and after I gave it to him, said OK you card has been reloaded and you now have XXX minutes for use.

I will have to check my Amex acct in a day or 2 to see if I was charged the tax in the end, I did say that the charge should still be $40 and he said yes.

I imagine the only reason I was transferred was cause the 19709 Zip I keyed in didnt match the one on my acct. Hopefully the amount of the transaction didnt change as I reloaded more then I usually would.
