I asked this question to KLM FD about 2 years ago and got the reply in writing that all intra-malaysian flights and the ZRH-KUL flight are not earning miles.

Another ft'er posted this info again as a response to a question to FD.

However I couldn't find anything like that in the membership guide or online... But if you ask me: I wouldn't take that risk.
