Hope you do a trip report either here or on Tripadvisor.

Hi Bobi,

George V was something else - what a brilliant hotel! One of the nicest we ever stayed at - and one of the priciest at E700+ !! We booked the cheapest room through Virtuoso and got upgraded to a 'small' suite, which was huge and beautiful (and which costst E2000 according to the website). They had arranged for a beautiful bouquet of red stemroses in the room as well as a bottle of champagne and chocolates. When we arrived for lunch at le Cinq there were red rose petals all over our table.

The only downsides I could find were that the technology is a bit old in the room and that from many of the rooms (even our suite on the eight floor) you don't really have any views.

Highly recommend, if you have the cash
