Since PPT and IPC are in different regions, and the only OW service to PPT is through IPC, you would need a surface segment between PPT and AKL or SYD (on TN or NZ).

OTOH, a global explorer allows the QF codeshare flight between PPT and SYD and so no need for surface segment on xGLOBxx
