Hi, I'm still boycotting air travel whenever I can, to protest the TSA's dog and pony show, so I find myself planning a train trip from Baltimore to Pittsburgh.

Does anyone have a general recommendation for me in choosing between these routes? I'm starting in Baltimore, so it's equidistant on the time tables between a Baltimore to Philadelphia, transfer to Pennsylvanian line for Pittsburgh,
OR to go Baltimore to DC, transfer to Capitol Limited line for Pittsburgh. I'm paying with Amtrak Guest Rewards points and I'll go for business class if available.

Is one of these more on-time or served by nicer trains?
