Just had a interesting discussion with the FB .... desk in France.
I will be flying AMS-AUA in November and back in December.
Have been flying this route at least 2 times a year for the last 10 years on the MD-11 in C. Front Cabin is always been A-B E-F H-J.
Now this ...... was trying to convince me that the window seat available was
1 or 2 G!! Told him that the current seat map on the website proofed my point, but to no avail. He insisted I was wrong so, being a seasoned KLM traveller and avid "help"desk caller, I did what I have been doing for the last few years whenever i was forced to contact any "person" at KLM/FD/FB; I just hung up on him.
But I received my confirmation on the seats being : 2 G & J??
Really hope they did not squeeze in another seat!

767 : B F
777 : C G
M11: B H
73W: B C
Rather confusing, to put it mildly.
A logical system could be based on ABC DEFG HJK, with A K always being window seats; C H always aisle seats on the window sides; D G always middle-block aisle seats; and B E F J being reserved for the middle seats, if any.
