Not all CC checks are created equal.....
Capital One sends me checks on regular basis - NO FEES, NO INTEREST, just like a regular charge. If my closing date is the 1st of the month and they get the check on the 2nd of the month, I'm good to go until they send me the statement.
I guess their thinking is that if I don't pay off the total balance they will collect interest, but in my case, they never get to see 1 penny of interest...
