Munich (whilst a nice airport) doesn't have the sheer scale of LHR so logistically I imagine this was much easier for them to achieve.

Realistically, there is no way BA can shift their entire operation from 3 distinct terminals (1, 3, 4) to T5 in about 6 hours or so - it just ain't gonna happen. That's leaving to one side the useless entity that is BAA.

Personally I can't wait - I'm really looking forward to seeing what it will be like...
