I don't see why they could not move everything all at once.

When Franz Joseph Strauss airport at Munich opened in the 1990s, I remember when Reims, the old one, closed. Literally they shut their doors after the last flight of the evening, put the last bits and pieces onto lorries and shipped everything to the new airport 45 minutes away, and in the morning flights arrived and departed as usual.

So if an entire airport can be moved to a totally different part of the city, what could possibly be so comparatively difficult about moving to another terminal?



I think I would rather avoid T5 like the plague the first few days.
