I just spoke with UA RCC and told them that I didn't really want to renew until October 1. The agent said, that since it is after the 20th of the month my membership (which is expiring at the end of September) would be valid until October 31, 2007.

Basically if one renews after the 20th of any month the membership will be valid until one year + 1 month of the month one renews in. (Not sure if that sentence makes sense or not. )
