If you are referring to my post about flying from ORY to LCY, I would say that the thorough security check was due to the destination, ie the UK. Unfortunately, I have had no post August 10th experience flying from ORY. I can just say that when flying from CDG to AMS, GVA or DUS, little has changed. The percentage of carry-ons that is checked by the screeners is just higher, as opposed to 100% for flights to the UK.

Flying to NCE is rather straightforward with the new Hall 2 dedicated to La Navette and its one or two flights per hour to NCE. I would say that coming to the airport one hour before the flight is stretching it. 45mn should be OK. Mid-morning is not peak time. Unless I am mistaken, latest check-in time is still 20mn in ORY and I would guess this also applies to baggage drop.
