Check your "auto" upgrades!
Last night's flight home RDU-PHL on a 320 was a rude surprise. My upgrade confirmed at booking within the window, yet when I checked in I was moved to the back in a middle seat. Kiosk denied the upgrade, and check in could only assigna middle seat and gate dance.
I called the CP desk, and they took care of it - saying there was no way that should have happened. (upgrade was in the record, downgrade wasn't) The staff at RDU were all pleasant and helpful with what they could do.
There's no way I should have had to go through that unless there were a glitch in the auto system. I wound up in row 1 with three SP's.
In short, check 'em and if they're messed up call the CP desk and they can fix 'em.
