I'd always heard that you should in fact be more careful about the quality of water you use for brushing your teeth than for drinking, as it has more likelihood of entering your bloodstream (through even a slight abrasion of the gums etc) and therefore doing you harm if it has any nasties in it. This could be complete rubbish, of course. Either way, I never use the aircraft water for brushing my teeth... OR for drinking (that's what the 42BELOW is for )
