If you settle up the account upon checkout then there is no reason why there should be extra charges added to your card at a later date. Its probably the one place where I dont mind spending that extra 5 minutes reviewing the bill and stopping by the front desk to close my "tab".

If what the charge you is what is different than what the copy of the bill you settled up against then you can have your CC company go after them.
